We recommend getting the Low Waste Shave Kit if you are starting off. This has everything you need and will save you money. The Safety Razor Travel Bag is part of both the Low Waste Shave Kit that comes with the Razor Stand, and the slightly lower cost Low Waste Shave Kit that comes without the stand.

A Safety Razor only has one blade compared to a disposable with multiple. This helps reduce the chance of irritation and allows a closer shave. Our Safety Razor and Low Waste Shave Kit (which includes a travel bag) are 100% plastic-free, unlike most disposable Razors, which need to be landfilled.
