CaliWoods at Go Green Expo

Celebrating Sustainability and Community Connections

What an amazing weekend we had at the Go Green Expo in Auckland! It's always such a pleasure to be part of events that celebrate sustainability and bring together like-minded individuals. I wanted to share some of my key takeaways from the expo with you all.

My Reflections

One of the highlights for me was having the opportunity to meet face to face with both new and familiar faces. It's incredibly rewarding to chat with customers who have been using CaliWoods products for years and to introduce newcomers to what we're all about. Our interactive talk on Low-Tox Living was a hit, covering topics ranging from minimising chemical and electric pollution exposure to the importance of reducing plastic packaging in our daily lives.

Now, onto some of my favorite stands at the expo! Lucy's Gluten Free was a standout for me, offering lip-smacking gluten-free loaves that are simply irresistible. It was fantastic to reconnect with Lucy, an old friend from Raglan, and to sample her delicious creations. I also couldn't resist stopping by Terps & Co for their refreshing drinks (a great alcohol-free option!), Forty Thieves Nut Butter for their scrumptious spreads, and TravelFox for some luxurious self-care treats. And for tea lovers, Tea Thief and Pickers Pocket offered an impressive selection of brews that hit the spot.

Reflecting on our journey, it's incredible to see how far we've come since our first Go Green Expo nearly seven years ago. Back then, we only had one product – Reusable Straws. Now, our product range has expanded so much that it's a challenge to fit everything onto our stand! It's heartening to witness more and more people becoming engaged in sustainable living and taking steps to care for themselves, their families, and our planet.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand at the expo. Your support and enthusiasm inspire us to continue our mission of promoting eco-friendly alternatives and making sustainable living accessible to all.

Until next time,
Shay x
