Stainless Clothing Pegs

Key info: 6cm high × 3cm on the squeeze part × 0.2cm thick. Certified Type 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel, weather and salt resistant, perfectly polished with no snags or pulls. Kraft paper box, zero plastic. 10-year replacement guarantee with proof of purchase.

Use: as per your plastic pegs. If you live coastal, a monthly wash in warm soapy water prevents salt build-up. Keep them in a basket so they don't meet the lawnmower!

Eco Wool Dryer Balls

Key info: 3 felted NZ wool balls per pack, with a cotton stash bag printed with instructions. Unbleached, chemical-free wool. Reusable for 1000+ cycles — about 3 years of daily loads.

Use: put all three in the dryer with your load. They create air pockets that shorten drying time, reduce static, 'puff' up down jackets and stop sheets tangling. The natural lanolin softens fabric, and they leave no fluff. Air them out on a windowsill between loads — and don't put them in the washing machine.

Cora Ball

Key info: independently tested to capture 26–31% of microplastics produced while washing. 100mm in diameter. Made in the USA from 100% recycled, 100% recyclable material that won't shed microplastic itself.

Use: pop it in the machine with your load. Every few months, remove the collected fluff (like cleaning a hairbrush) and bin it. Wash delicates separately or in a delicates bag — straps can tangle. At end of life, send it back to us for the manufacturer's take-back program.

Cleaning, care & end of life

Pegs: store undercover; coastal homes, monthly soapy wash. Dryer balls: no cleaning needed; air out between loads; 100% natural fibre — home compost in pieces at end of life, or landfill. Cora Ball: remove visible fibres with fingers or tweezers; return to us at end of life for recycling into new Cora Balls (no curbside option in NZ).

Packaging

Cardboard box for the Pegs — no other packaging in this kit. Shipped plastic-free in a cardboard box with paper tape or a home-compostable mailer.

Made by

Pegs: made in our ISO-certified factory in China. Dryer balls: Sheep-ish design from NZ wool, by their Indian manufacturer. Cora Ball: made in the USA by Cora Ball.

Any last questions?

Do the Stainless Pegs rust?

No — 316 Marine Grade stainless is designed to withstand the elements, even coastally. Store them under cover and give them a monthly soapy wash if you live near the beach.

How much fibre does the Cora Ball actually catch?

Two independent studies put the capture rate at 26–31% per load — and both found it also reduces shedding in the first place. Fabric mix, pet hair and wash settings all affect the result.

Are the dryer balls suitable for condenser dryers?

Yes — they work in both conventional and condenser dryers.

What makes these different from cheaper pegs and dryer balls?

The dryer balls are 100% unbleached NZ wool, generously sized, with a cotton stash bag — and guaranteed. The pegs: we could make them half the cost, but they'd be half the quality, wouldn't last 10+ years, and would rust on your line. We back these 100%.

Can I return the kit?

We offer full and partial refunds per the Consumer Guarantees Act, but cannot accept returns on this item for hygiene reasons. See our Refund Policy or get in touch.
