Microcrystalline cellulose (polishing agent), sodium bicarbonate, silica, sodium lauroyl glutamate, magnesium stearate, aroma*, menthol, xanthan gum, stevioside, citric acid, sodium fluoride (in tablets containing fluoride only), eugenol*.
*Natural Mint. RDA value below 30. Sodium fluoride value is 1450ppm (to create one tablet at the correct dosage of fluoride for adults and children 6+ years within one tablet).

What about the fluoride content?
The Mint tabs have 1450ppm of fluoride — the correct dosage for adults and children 6+ years within one tablet. The Strawberry tabs have 500ppm, suitable for children 3+ years ('a smear of toothpaste' in one tablet). The fluoride activates upon contact with saliva. We also offer Fluoride-Free in both Mint and Strawberry if that is your preference.
Why do you want abrasiveness to be low?
RDA is short for Relative Dentin Abrasivity — a scale measuring the abrasiveness of toothpaste on dentin; higher values mean greater potential for enamel and dentin wear. Denttabs have a 30 RDA, unlike the 40–60 standard of regular toothpaste. They work by polishing your teeth, so you brush gently with an ultra-soft bristled toothbrush. A low abrasion rate is better for long-term oral health.
Foam or no foam?
Denttabs do not foam in your mouth like regular toothpaste. This takes a few brushes to get used to, but we often find it becomes the preference after a short amount of time. There is still an adequate amount of the creamy tablet to brush with.
Do I need an ultra-soft bristled toothbrush?
For best results, an ultra-soft bristled brush is recommended because it helps with the polishing effect. Firmer toothbrushes will still be fine — you just won't get optimal results. You can find the Denttabs Ultra-Soft bamboo toothbrush here.
How about tooth tablets for kids?
Suitable for children aged 6+ for Mint and 3+ for Strawberry. Please keep your tooth tablets in a safe place and out of the reach of younger children — they are not mints! You can choose either fluoride or fluoride-free. Seek immediate medical advice if the Fluoride tablets have been consumed in excess of one tablet.
Denttabs and allergies
The Mint tablets contain two ingredients that may trigger allergies: menthol, which can pass through the mucous membranes and may cause allergic reactions, and eugenol, a component of the mint flavour and a known allergen. Menthol-free and flavour-free tablets are planned for the future.
