The Shaving Soap Bar is a delightfully scented, natural alternative to shaving creams. While a little different than conventional shaving cream, after a shave or two you will be more than familiar with this Soap Bar and confident while using it. It is hand crafted and manufactured with natural ingredients. Using a suitable soap while shaving with a Safety Razor can help with glide and lubrication. Our bar contains contains coconut fatty acids, which act as a natural moisturizer for the skin against irritation and cuts.
This Shaving Bar is free from PEGs, glycols, and isopentane which are not only a blight on our waterways but also potentially disruptive to human health when absorbed via the skin.

Yes! Our Shaving Soap Bar is made with organic coconut oil. Coconut oil soaps produce a rich lather. Although it does not produce as much lather as a commercial shaving cream, coconut oil makes its own glycerine, which improves moisturization and lubrication. In fact, in some parts of Asia, handmade soaps made from organic coconut oil are used to manage psoriasis and other skin concerns.

The Shaving Soap is carefully prepared for shaving, and because our producer does not use hardeners or palm oil, our soap is typically softer than commercial soap.

Green Clay adds lubrication to the soap and at the same time it has moisturizing properties.

There are a couple of things you can do to make sure your Shaving Soap Bar lasts a long time. This is beneficial for your wallet and also means we aren’t wasting resources when we are using everyday items.
~ Cut the bar in half when you first use it. This means you use one part at a time and, if you are in the shower, the other half isn’t getting wet and effectively running down the drain. Please note you might not get a clean cut so you need to be okay with using a few smaller pieces
~ Turn off the shower when lathering. This allows you to focus on your shave and the lather won’t get washed away
~ Keep your Shaving Bar out of the shower. This is a damp, hot environment and your soap will fair better if stored on a soap holder out of the shower. Totally optional but if you are an occasional shaver, rather than everyday, this might be a practical step you can take.
