Meet Our Facial Rounds
A clean face is the first step in skin care and by using soft, certified organic cotton you know that what you are putting on your face has no hidden nasties. Reusable Facial Rounds are more effective than conventional towels, which are rough on the skin and may cause bacteria to buildup. They effectively clean dirt, oils, and chemicals from your skin. They are also perfect for wiping or drying newborn skin which is very sensitive.
Cotton is technically natural and biodegradable but it is also one of the world's most chemically intensive crops, requiring thousands of tons of pesticides each year. The GOTS certified standard protects farmers, the environment, and you as the customer.

These facial rounds measure 9 cm in diameter, which is larger than the regular size. This gives a more luxe feel and provides a larger area for removing makeup.

Both the pads and bag are biodegradable at the end of their life cycles. Just cut them into pieces and add them to your home compost

Apply your make-up remover on to the reusable rounds, and use the rounds like your conventional pads. Put the used rounds into the cotton wash bag so they will not get lost for your next round of laundry.

The product is packed in a 15cm x 15 cm cotton wash bag with a swing tag made from cotton textile waste (cotton paper). Our package will be sent via plastic-free shipping either in a cardboard box with paper tape or a home compostable mailer with corrugated cardboard for protection.

To clean your facial rounds, please soak before machine washing (if required). You can wash on a normal cycle in cold to warm water and low tumble dry or line dry.
We recommend you use the wash bag for your Facial Rounds so that they don’t get lost in the machine amongst your other items.
At the end of their life, please cut the fabric into small pieces and compost.

Not at the moment. We tested the sizes out extensively before our production run and found a 9cm diameter to be the most practical. We one stage we did a run of black facial rounds but the cost of the fabric and dye (doing this organically), became unfeasible to bring it to you at a reasonable price so we didn’t run the black again. We will monitor this.
